Service Technician II

Conduct maintenance and service activities to assure Safety, Quality, & Productivity in the following areas:

• Labor
• Support Team Members
• Preventive Maintenance
• Packaging
• Forklift/overhead crane operation
• Bolting torque and tension
• Equipment assembly
• Overhead lifting

The responsibilities of the Service Technician II requires the following qualifications:

• 1 years maintenance experience
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
• Knowledge of problem-solving tools (e.g. Pareto, root cause, Plan/Do/Check/Act, etc.) to identify and effective countermeasures implementation
• Capable of operating shop equipment: pallet jack, pneumatic tools, electrical tools, cranes, forklifts, etc.
• Occasionally necessary to lift 50 lbs safely. Effectively use cranes and jibs.
• Capable of working under pressure while maintaining logical thought process
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Self-directed decision making based on sound prioritization of business needs
• Strong, team orientation, motivation, training and influencing skills
• Proven ability to effectively communicate / interact with Operators, supervisors, and equipment technical representatives
• Facilities equipment: Forklift, overhead crane, pneumatic system operation and basic maintenance.
• Basic to moderate computer skill

Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $23.00 - $33.00
