About the Role – Houseperson (Housekeeping) The Housekeeping Houseperson is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the hotel. This position supports the Room Attendants on the guest floors. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to; stocking carts, prepping guestrooms to be cleaned, removing trash, stripping bed linen, working on special projects throughout the hotel, etc. This person must have good communication skills, the ability to lift, pull and push a moderate weight and the ability to stand/walk for prolonged periods of time (up to 8 hours per shift). This is a fast-paced position.Must have fully open and flexible availability. The position responsibilities outlined above are in no way to be construed as all encompassing. Other duties, responsibilities, and qualifications may be required and/or assigned as necessary. Wage Information: The hourly rate for this position is $23.50/hr. This is the pay rate for this position that Hyatt Regency La Jolla reasonably expects to pay.
