Joining our FAB Operations team means working at the center of real‑time manufacturing, collaborating across engineering, operations, and automation teams to deliver critical outcomes. Your Role and Responsibilities As a Tactical Engineer (Night Shift), you will play a key role in driving real‑time FAB execution, ensuring continuous flow of work‑in‑progress (WIP), maximizing tool utilization, and supporting priority lot delivery during off‑hours operations. This opportunity is an AWS night‑shift position (N2), working Wednesday–Friday 7pm‑7:30am with alternating Saturdays. Key Responsibilities Monitor and manage WIP flow, hot lots, and priority lots to ensure efficient execution across the FAB. Run lookaheads and analyze run paths to identify and resolve risks such as down tools, holds, and process constraints. Track tool status, utilization, and performance, coordinating conversions and resolving operational issues in real time. Analyze production data and system reports to identify bottlenecks, improve productivity, and support decision‑making. Lead shift pass‑down and provide clear communication of priorities, risks, and recovery plans across teams. Serve as the primary point of contact for urgent operational issues during the night shift. Drive continuous improvement through report enhancements, automation (e.g., RTD rules, macros), and workflow optimization. Partner with engineering, technicians, and operations teams to maintain alignment on execution priorities and planned activities. Preferred Education Master's Degree Required Technical And Professional Expertise Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field. Experience working in a FAB operations, engineering, or production/manufacturing support role, with exposure to real‑time execution. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools. Comfort operating with limited on‑site support during off‑hours. Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate across multiple teams and shifts. Preferred Technical And Professional Experience Experience with FAB systems such as SiView, Baldy, & Creates Reports. Familiarity with WIP management, dispatching logic, and tool utilization metrics. Experience developing reports, dashboards, or automation tools to support operations. Prior experience working night shifts or in 24/7 manufacturing environments.
