Registered Nurse - Med/Surg Telemetry

Manchester, NH

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, every other weekend required; 12-hour shifts preferred.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for our Med/Surg Telemetry unit. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive skillset in Med/Surg Telemetry, with a focus on providing high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct head-to-toe assessments and monitor patient conditions.
• Manage IV medication administration including Lasix, heparin, metoprolol, diltiazem, and insulin.
• Perform wound care including drain management and VAC therapy.
• Care for NGT/G tube patients and manage parenteral nutrition.
• Handle central line management for PICC, HD catheters, and midlines.
• Provide care for foley and nephrostomy catheters, suprapubic catheter care, and ostomy care.
• Deliver postoperative patient care with a focus on recovery and rehabilitation.
• Participate in daily MDRs to enhance patient care excellence.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN License in the state of New Hampshire
• Current ACLS certification
• Current BLS certification
• Experience in Med/Surg Telemetry is essential
