SWTHZ Studio Manager (Pre-sales & Launch) – Founding Leadership Role About SWTHZ SWTHZ is a fast-growing wellness and recovery concept focused on contrast therapy through private infrared sauna and cold plunge suites. With rapid expansion nationwide, we are launching our flagship New York City location in Tribeca . This role is for an immediate start. We are building a founding team and seeking a Studio Manager who will play a key role in launching, growing, and leading this location from day one. We aren't just looking for a manager, we are looking for a partner that will help us lay the foundation of SWTHZ in NYC. We are planning to expand across Manhattan and Brooklyn , and this role offers strong growth into multi-location leadership opportunities . Position Overview The Studio Manager will be responsible for driving pre-opening membership sales, building community partnerships, and overseeing day-to-day studio operations . This is a hands-on leadership role combining sales, community engagement, and operational excellence. Experience in leading and growing teams, sales, and community events is required. We are looking for someone who wants to be part of building something great in New York from the ground up! Lead all pre-opening presales and founding membership sales Build and manage a lead pipeline and waitlist Achieve and exceed membership and revenue targets Track and improve key performance metrics (conversion, retention, revenue) Community & Partnerships Build relationships with local businesses, residential buildings, and corporate offices Plan and execute community events, pop-ups, and local activations Partner with trainers, wellness professionals, and influencers Act as a brand ambassador within the Tribeca and surrounding communities Leadership & Team Management Recruit, train, and lead a high-performing team Create a positive, customer-focused studio culture Coach team members on sales and member experience Set clear performance expectations and KPIs Studio Operations Oversee daily operations including staffing, scheduling, and inventory Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and member experience Ensure smooth and efficient studio performance Support the development of additional wellness offerings , including red light therapy and other recovery services Collaborate with ownership on programming and member experience enhancements Training & Travel (5%) Participate in onboarding and training at SweatHouz locations and headquarter Occasional travel required (~5%) for training and development Qualifications 6-10+ years of experience in fitness, wellness, hospitality, or membership-based business Proven success in sales or membership growth Leadership or management experience, including training and development of team members Strong communication and organizational skills Energetic, outgoing, and customer-focused Passion for health, wellness, and recovery Event or community building experience Preferred Background Experience working in a boutique fitness, spa, wellness, or membership-based environment is a plus, especially with brands such as: Equinox Barry's Orangetheory Fitness Solidcore Othership Bathhouse Performance Bonuses (monthly & quarterly based on studio performance) Total Compensation Potential: $100,000 – $120,000+ Additional benefits: Complimentary membership Paid time off This role offers strong growth potential into multi-location or regional leadership as we expand across Manhattan and Brooklyn Pay: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year Health insurance Paid time off #J-18808-Ljbffr SWTHZ - Contrast Therapy Studio
