Licensed Practical Nurse, LPN - FT Days

Provide appropriate nursing care as directed by an RN on the nursing unit Gather and report patient data Carry out medical orders Perform therapeutic procedures on patients in an age- and population-appropriate manner Follow PAM Health policies, procedures, and guidelines Perform other related duties as assigned or requested Requirements Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse / Licensed Vocational Nurse in the state where the hospital resides Current BLS certification required One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred but not required Prior experience in emergency or critical care environments preferred Comfort working with vents, trachs, and PICC lines preferred Two years of experience in direct patient care preferred Core Competencies Demonstrates proficiency in providing nursing care under the direction of an RN, with a focus on patient data gathering, medical order execution, and therapeutic procedures. Holds current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse and BLS certification, with experience in direct patient care and familiarity with critical care environments.
