District Leader

REQUIRED: This client is specifically looking for candidates with 4+ years of Active Duty U.S. military experience

Korn Ferry Military Division has partnered with our client on their search for a District Leader to cover their St. Louis MO territory. For 50 years, this independent retailer has built over 90 locations throughout Missouri, Illinois, Texas and Ohio, and today employ more than 1,200 associates, offering great opportunity for career advancement.

LEADERSHIP IS KEY

A strong background in retail sales and customer-facing prowess is highly preferred and will give you a huge advantage over other candidates!

Compensation: $160,000-170,000 + 20% bonus target

What You Will Do:

• Provide Senior level leadership to multiple retail automotive stores within an operational district.
• Ensure operational excellence, financial success, and outstanding customer service throughout all the stores in assigned district.
• Will have full P&L responsibility ensuring store sales, service goals, quality, safety and customer excellence are met.
• Act as direct leader of Store Management teams including staffing, recruiting, training, coaching, and performance management.
• Set and monitor sales goals and KPIs, supporting Store Managers in driving revenue, profitability, and customer retention.
• Recruit, train, and retain high-performing teams across.
• Conduct regular on-site audits and operational reviews to ensure compliance, quality, and continuous improvement.

Education and Work Experience:

• 4+ years Active Duty US Military experience required
• Leadership is KEY; extensive experience successfully leading operations (preferably within a multi-retail / store environment) and an effective leader of people
• Ability to perform in a fast paced/high volume environment required.
• Strong background in retail sales and customer satisfaction is highly preferred.
• Must be highly-customer centric and a master relationship builder; a strong team player with the ability to adapt to diverse team members
