Job Title Decision Analytics Consultant – Insights & Analytics Service Area Salary $160,000 – $190,000 per year Location Evanston, IL and various locations across the United States Benefits Competitive base salary with potential COLA increases Leave policies Bonus incentives Relocation assistance Medical, dental and life insurance Retirement benefits Job Role and Responsibilities Formulate and apply mathematical modeling, data science, predictive modeling, and statistical analysis to develop insights that support client decision‑making. Manage quantitative and data‑focused projects, including defining scope, developing strategies, and creating detailed project plans. Provide technical and quantitative guidance to junior team members and oversee project deliverables to ensure analytical rigor and timely delivery. Conduct issue analysis, develop hypotheses, and recommend strategies to senior partners. Serve as the primary client point of contact, presenting findings and recommendations and making final decisions on deliverables. Coordinate sub‑projects and team meetings, track progress, and address technical or data‑related issues. Lead project task execution, organize plans, and manage staffing, including hiring decisions. Support business‑development activities by preparing financial summaries, identifying opportunities, and responding to RFPs. Travel up to 25% of the time to meet client needs. Qualifications Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Business Administration, Operations Research, Applied Mathematics, Business Analytics, Data Science, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with at least 3 years of experience in a comparable role. Alternatively, Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in the same fields with at least 5 years of progressive, post‑baccalaureate experience. Position Requirements Experience managing end‑to‑end projects. Leadership and mentoring of teams. Client‑facing experience. Proficiency with algorithms, data structures, statistical modeling, and data mining. Methodological development and statistical programming skills. SQL or SAS programming experience. Data synthesis/machine learning expertise. Biostatistics knowledge. Business‑development skills: identifying new opportunities, analyzing trends, building stakeholder relationships.
