Salary: Up to $160,000 + 15% Annual Bonus

The People Placers is partnering with a well-established global organization to identify an experienced Senior Accounting Manager for a key leadership opportunity. Our client is an industry leader with international operations and a collaborative, team-oriented culture. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with executive leadership while helping drive financial accuracy, operational excellence, continuous process improvement, and strategic growth initiatives.

What You'll Do

Financial Reporting & Close

• Lead and support the monthly close process, including journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and financial reporting.
• Review financial results, balance sheet accounts, AP/AR activity, and operational trends.
• Prepare cash flow reporting, variance analyses, and management reporting.
• Support quarterly financial reporting and foreign office accounting.
• Assist with M&A activities, including due diligence, purchase accounting, and integration.
• Partner with leadership on special projects and strategic initiatives.

Accounts Payable & Billing Oversight

• Provide functional leadership to the AP and Billing teams.
• Ensure timely and accurate vendor payments, customer billings, reconciliations, and subledger activity.
• Resolve complex accounting, billing, and reconciliation issues across departments.
• Develop KPIs and improve visibility into operational performance.
• Drive automation and continuous improvement across source-to-pay and order-to-cash processes.

Audit, Compliance & Internal Controls

• Support U.S. and international audits.
• Assist with internal controls testing, documentation, and remediation.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to strengthen financial controls.
• Maintain audit readiness and ensure compliance with company policies and GAAP.

Leadership & Process Improvement

• Coach and mentor accounting team members while promoting accountability and collaboration.
• Review work for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
• Lead ERP and financial systems enhancements, including testing and implementation.
• Identify opportunities to automate processes and improve reporting efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• CPA required
• 12–15 years of progressive accounting experience
• Public accounting/audit experience strongly preferred
• Experience supporting U.S. and international audits
• Exposure to foreign statutory reporting and tax compliance preferred
• Experience overseeing Accounts Payable and Billing functions preferred
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP
• Experience with General Ledger systems (FSM preferred)
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Experience with Power BI, Qlik, or other business intelligence tools
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
