Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with acute care experience and Epic proficiency for a 13-week travel assignment at a Level II Trauma Center.

Details

• Short-term acute care hospital setting with 379 staffed beds at a Level II Trauma Center
• PT Acute Care unit with a 1:1 patient ratio
• Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours (8:00–17:00)
• No on-call, weekend, or block schedule requirements
• No floating between units within this assignment; however, all travelers may be expected to float between facilities within the state
• Free surface parking available on-site in designated Employee/Visitor lots
• Epic EMR required

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of acute care physical therapy experience required
• Current PT license required; license must be active at time of consideration
• BLS certification required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty and setting
• Full SSN and DOB required for consideration
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• First-time travelers will be considered for this position
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not reside within 50 miles of the facility
• Travelers may be required to float between facilities within the state; refusal to float may result in termination of assignment
• Minimal RTO is expected for this position
• Scrub attire for licensed personnel must be solid navy blue; print tops are not acceptable
• 13-week contract
