We are seeking a friendly, personable, and hospitality-driven Host / Hostess to join the team at 'ino. Our hosts are the first and last point of contact for our guests and play an important role in creating a warm, welcoming, and organized dining experience.

The ideal candidate is confident, approachable, attentive to detail, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with people, is eager to learn, and understands that great hospitality starts the moment a guest walks through the door.

Qualifications:

• Passion for hospitality and creating a welcoming guest experience
• Friendly, personable, and confident with strong communication skills
• Professional, polished, and approachable demeanor
• Ability to remain calm and organized in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work with urgency
• Comfortable communicating with guests and team members
• Willingness to learn about the menu, restaurant, and service standards
• Ability to work collaboratively and support the entire FOH team
• Previous restaurant or hospitality experience preferred, but not required
• Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities:

• Warmly greet and welcome every guest entering the restaurant
• Manage the flow of guests and maintain an organized and efficient door
• Accurately manage reservations, waitlists, seating, and guest requests
• Communicate wait times and seating expectations clearly and professionally
• Escort guests to their tables and provide menus as needed
• Answer phones and assist guests with reservations and general questions
• Maintain awareness of the dining room and communicate effectively with servers, managers, and support staff
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming host area
• Assist the FOH team wherever needed during service
• Learn and uphold 'ino's service standards and Steps of Service
• Create a positive and welcoming experience from arrival through departure
• Maintain professionalism and composure during busy periods
