Embedded Software Engineer

Develop embedded software, scripts, and internal utilities using C/C++, C#, Python, Qt, and/or Matlab/Simulink Create and execute unit, hardware, and on-machine tests Participate in code reviews Manage requirements Utilize project tracking systems Operate equipment Construct electrical harnesses Log and analyze test data Apply schooling to real-world projects and gain hands-on experience Requirements Sophomore, Junior, or Senior standing in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity Engineering, or equivalent 3.0 or higher GPA preferred Ability to commit full-time to Bobcat for the entire co‑op term (8 months) or internship term (4 months) Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint) Communication and collaboration skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Core Competencies Demonstrates proficiency in developing embedded software and scripts using C/C++, C#, Python, and Qt, while effectively managing requirements and conducting thorough testing.
