Locum Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist Job Rochester, United States | Posted on 05/15/2026 Openings: 1 Reason forCoverage: Long-termpermanent search Practice Setting: Hospital-based coverage 11 ORs Services include Cardiovascular, Vascular, Neurological, Genera, ENT, Urology, Orthopedics, Robotic, Colo-Rectal, Podiatry, Plastics, Non-invasive Cardiology, OB, Endoscopy and Radiology (CT/MRI) 180-bed facility Schedule: Full-time coverage Monday-Friday, 7:00a-3:00p Patient Population: All ages, mostly Adult/Geriatric EMR: EPIC Credentialing: 90-120 days, temporary privileges available Requirements: Board certification AHA BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications Minimum 1-year CRNAexperience or equivalent Job Responsibilities (Generalized): Provide anesthesiacare to patients undergoing surgery, includingpreoperative assessment, intraoperative anesthesiamanagement and postoperative pain management Collaborate withsurgeons, surgical teams and other healthcare providers toensure optimal patient outcomes Monitor patient vitalsigns and adjust anesthetic plans as needed Respond toemergencies and provide critical care interventions Maintain accurate andcomplete medical records Stay current on thelatest advancements in anesthesia practice through continuingeducation Skills: Clinical expertiseand technical proficiency in administering variousanesthesia techniques Strong criticalthinking and decision-making skills Excellentcommunication and collaboration skills to workeffectively with a surgical team Exceptional attentionto detail and the ability to adapt to changing patientconditions Strong work ethic,stamina and ability to perform effectively in a fast-pacedenvironment Requirements Education: Master of Science inNursing (MSN) or Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP) from anaccredited CRNA program Licenses &Certifications: Active andunencumbered advanced practice registered nurse (APRN)license in Michigan Nationalcertification as a CRNA by the National Board ofCertification and Re-certification for NurseAnesthetist (NBCRNA) Experience: While specificrequirements may vary, most locum CRNA positions prefercandidates with at least one year of experience in a clinicalanesthesia setting Travel: If you reside greaterthan 50 miles from the facility you are eligible for travelbenefits.
