Job Title

Travel RN – Emergency Department

Location

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 13-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced freestanding emergency department setting
• Perform IV starts and medication administration with strict scan compliance for patients and medications
• Manage sedations and participate in pediatric team nursing as needed
• Maintain patient ratios averaging 3:1, with low acuity ratios up to 5:1
• Collaborate with charge nurses, physicians, and midlevel providers across night shift operations
• Document accurately and efficiently using the facility EMR system

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of acute care hospital Emergency Department RN experience
• Active RN license in good standing
• Current BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale, PALS, and TNCC certifications
• Experience in travel nursing or experience working in a larger facility emergency department
• Ability to work independently and maintain pace in a high-volume, diverse ED environment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ENPC certification
• Experience with Meditech EMR
• Prior travel experience at facilities larger than 52 beds
