Shift: 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. with a post call day off during the week. 1 in 3 call shared with other PAs. After Operating Room cases (dependent on patient volume) would provide Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU), coverage with 2 other dedicated CVICU PAs.**Primary Department, Division, or Unit:**UHS Cardiothoracic**Annual Compensation Range:**$173,800 - $240,000-----**Position Responsibilities**:* Coordinate patient care. Counsel patients about concerns under the direction of the supervising physician(s).* Round on patients admitted to the hospital; review care plans with nursing staff as established by our physicians.* Assist in the operating room. Vein Harvest experience required.* Perform physical assessments on patients and complete patient histories.* Complete discharge summaries.* Order medications, treatments, labs, etc.* Be available for call about patient conditions according to the pre-established schedule.
