Web Designer – Hill’s Pet Nutrition Location: Overland Park, Kansas (United States) The role focuses on creating responsive, accessible websites and managing email deployment components for Hill’s core digital channels. Responsibilities Own various web design projects across multiple online properties, designing branded page layouts, templates, and website visuals using digital and UX best practices. Select, retouch, and composite imagery from client‑owned libraries for web environments, maintaining brand consistency. Collaborate closely with Creative Managers, Project Managers, UX designers, copywriters, front‑end developers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver on‑brand creative solutions. Ensure all digital creative adheres to Hill’s brand guidelines, accessibility requirements, and global quality standards. Use data and analytics to inform design decisions while managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment. Prepare and deliver production‑ready digital assets in a variety of formats for online platforms and front‑end production environments. Author and edit pages within CMS (e.g., Adobe Experience Manager), ensuring brand consistency and high‑quality visual production standards. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Web Design, Visual Communications, or a closely related field. 4+ years of professional design experience specializing in responsive websites within an in‑house creative team or agency setting. A strong and diverse portfolio showcasing UI design, UX best practices, and web accessibility. Expert proficiency in Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or comparable web design tools and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator). Strong command of graphic design principles, typography, color theory, layout composition, and responsive UI frameworks. Preferred Qualifications Experience in the consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry. Hands‑on experience with enterprise CMS like Adobe Experience Manager (AEM). Familiarity with project management platforms such as Monday.com, Jira, or Asana. Excellent communication, presentation, organizational, and time‑management skills. Demonstrated efficiency as a self‑starter in a high‑volume, production‑focused, deadline‑driven role. Compensation and Benefits Salary Range: $86,000 – $121,000 USD annually. Salaried employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, profit‑sharing, and long‑term incentives for Executive‑level roles. Additional benefits: minimum 15 vacation/PTO days (hourly employees receive a minimum of 120 hours) and 13 paid holidays. Paid sick leave is adjusted based on role and location per local laws.
