About the Position

TransForce is seeking an experienced Class B CDL Driver with Tanker and Hazmat endorsements for a full-time opportunity supporting local P&D (Pick-Up and Delivery) operations throughout the Central Illinois region . This position offers competitive pay, steady weekday hours, and year-round work for safety-minded professionals who are comfortable with a physically demanding role.

Pay & Schedule

Pay Rate: $27.50 per hour
Consistent Monday–Friday schedule
9:30 AM start, 8–10 hours per day
Home daily
Full-time, dedicated opportunity

Key Responsibilities

Perform local pick-up and delivery (P&D) operations with an average of 12–16 stops per day
Load and unload freight using manual pallet jacks
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
Maintain DOT compliance and follow all safety procedures

Minimum Requirements

Valid Class B CDL
Tanker and Hazmat endorsements required
Minimum of 2+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable CDL driving experience
Ability to perform heavy-touch freight duties and repetitive loading and unloading activities
Forklift experience is helpful but not required
Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)
Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
Must be at least 21 years old
