Responsibilities
- Provide inpatient GI/endoscopy nursing care during procedures such as colonoscopy and EGD
- Monitor patient status before, during, and after procedures; assist with sedation and post-procedure recovery
- Collaborate with gastroenterology, anesthesia, and unit teams to coordinate patient care and safety
- Document comprehensive assessments and interventions in the EPIC electronic medical record
- Manage patient flow, admissions, discharges, and room turnover within the GI/endoscopy unit

Requirements
- Active New York RN license in-hand to submit
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Epic charting experience required
- Minimum of 1 year clinical RN experience; first-time travelers accepted
- Core skills: inpatient endoscopy, colonoscopy, and EGD
- Ability to work in an inpatient GI/endoscopy unit and float to related areas as needed
