As a Security Officer for Logistics Gate in Torrance, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Join Allied Universal in an access control role where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and support a professional, welcoming experience at the location. You will help to deter security-related incidents through visible presence, routine patrols, and strong communication while working as part of a reliable, agile team that puts people first and acts with integrity. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license.

Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out access control duties, security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities.
• Monitor and document entry and exit activity in accordance with site procedures, helping to support authorized access at the location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, as working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
