Responsibilities Installing and servicing overhead doors, docks, dock levelers, springs, cables, and other essential hardware. Setting up and maintaining various commercial and industrial specialty doors, equipment, and accessories. Ensuring quality by meticulously checking for proper installation, clearance, and balance. Delivering unparalleled customer service and responding to customer inquiries honestly and pleasantly. Qualifications Have one or more years of experience installing and/or servicing overhead doors and docks, or other similar mechanical, electrical, construction or field‑service skill. Be a master of hand and power tools, showcasing your knowledge in this area. Possess mechanical aptitude that enables you to troubleshoot and solve technical challenges. Be a team player who can also work independently. Exhibit strong communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with colleagues and customers. Have a valid driver's license and maintain a clean driving record. Be capable of regularly lifting anywhere between 50-100 lbs. Compensation The starting pay for this role is generally $25 per hour and up to $45 per hour, but the actual wage may vary depending on the candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Interested? Ability to communicate effectively with customers, vendors, third‑party experts, and co‑workers. Strong basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals) and ability to effectively read and utilize a tape measure. Ability to think methodically and apply logical step‑by‑step approach to work. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with many different variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Physical and Mental Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
