About the Position

Our client is seeking a CDL A Delivery Driver for a local delivery position in Marietta, Georgia. This role involves delivering HVAC supplies and equipment using 26-foot box trucks and F-250 pickup trucks. The position offers a consistent Monday through Friday schedule and the opportunity to become permanent.

Pay & Schedule

$23.50 per hour
40 hours per week
Monday through Friday
6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Local delivery routes in Marietta, Georgia
Temp-to-perm opportunity

Job Details

Route type: Local delivery
Freight: HVAC supplies and equipment
Equipment: 26-foot box trucks and F-250 pickup trucks with automatic transmissions
Delivery area: Typically within a two-hour range from the store
Handling: Heavy touch, including unloading or assisting with unloading materials

Key Responsibilities

Deliver HVAC supplies and equipment to local customers.
Unload or assist with unloading materials and collect customer signatures.
Pick up customer returns and local purchase orders.
Secure materials and remain within applicable weight limits.
Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
Perform driving duties while providing professional customer service.
Assist in the warehouse as needed.

Minimum Requirements

Valid CDL A.
1+ year of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience.
Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
Must be at least 21 years old.
