Travel events are typically 1 to 5 days. Scheduling is based on provider availability and event dates. May include weekends. Openings: 5 Travel: Travel required. Travel and lodging provided. Position Overview Provide VA disability Compensation and Pension examinations for Veterans focused on Traumatic Brain Injury. Evaluation only. No treatment. No prescribing. Complete required documentation in the electronic system. Typical volume is approximately 5 to 10 Veterans per day. Required Qualifications Board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, or completed residency training in the specialty. Strong computer skills and comfort with electronic documentation. Recent relevant experience in general or internal medicine is helpful for exam style assessments.
