Data Quality Analyst

Data Quality Analyst - Onsite (Jersey City, NJ / Plano, TX / Columbus, OH), 5 days/week. 10+ years of experience, including 3+ years in data quality, data analyst or telecom inventory roles and 1+ year vendor-facing.

You will own reconciliation of a carrier's circuit inventory per wave: triage field-level mismatches (true vs false positives), tune equivalence rules, raise and chase correction tickets internally and with carriers, track SLAs, and report weekly burn-down and monthly KPIs. You will also onboard carriers (file requests, column dictionaries, mapping) and manage field-ops batches for unmatched circuits.

Telecom inventory knowledge (70%): circuit configurations, port connectivity, A/Z locations, CE/PE connections, bandwidth, circuit types (Ethernet, Private Line, MPLS, DIA, Channelized, SONET), utilization, carrier quotes and orders, WAN, circuit inventory management, TEM, LEC/local loop/demarc.

Required: advanced Excel (lookups, pivots, text normalization, 100k+ row files); messy carrier CSV/Excel files; data quality practice (profiling, rules, exception triage, root cause); vendor management with carrier data teams; clear written English for executive status reports.

Preferred: Python/pandas; TEM or inventory platforms; carrier inventory reconciliation or telecom audit; address standardization and fuzzy matching; KPI/scorecard governance; basic HTML/dashboard literacy.
