Our team is responsible for producing design key components of the missile system and associated test equipment.What You Will Be DoingAs the Mechanical Design Engineer Sr you will be responsible for the design, development and improvement to mechanical fixtures and automated test equipment for production test. They will also work with a cross-functional team to design, fabricated, and checkout test fixtures and equipment prior for implementation in a production environment. This position supports the Air Dominance Weapon System program in Orlando, FL.Your responsibilities will include: •Developing and generating CREO layouts and detailed drawings for mechanical fixtures used in the production test environment•Building BOMs, creating parts, assemblies, and design documentation of mechanical and electromechanical components and assemblies within Windchill PLM•Supporting & upgrading test equipment hardware designs for unit under test (UUT) fixturing•Support the build and assembly of hardware and test fixtures •Analyzing failures/anomalies associated with test equipment, UUTs, UUT fixturing, and providing recommended solutions •Coordinating with production teams to maintain test fixture and equipment uptime•Managing drawing releases, responding to CRs, generating CN's, and presenting/supporting change boards and design reviews Why Join UsDo you want to be part of a company culture that empowers employees to think big, lead with a growth mindset, and make the impossible a reality? Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
