Overview
Registered Nurse - PCU in Utica, New York. Travel assignment starting 11/16/2026 for 13 weeks on a night shift (2x4 nights) in an inpatient unit with PCU/IMCU responsibilities. Guaranteed 48 hours per week, with weekly pay around $3,153-$3,168. This is a travel temporary assignment in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for adults in the IMCU/PCU with neuro, cardiac, trauma, and respiratory needs.
- Monitor and manage complex conditions (e.g., COPD, DKA, Sepsis, MI) and assist with chronic vent patients; RT support as needed.
- Perform ongoing assessments, administer medications, implement orders, and monitor ventilators and other critical equipment.
- Collaborate with physicians, case management, respiratory therapy, and other disciplines to develop and adjust care plans.
- Document accurately in the electronic health record (EPIC) and ensure proper handoffs during shift changes.
- Float as required within the unit scope and maintain patient safety, infection control, and quality standards.

Requirements
- Active New York RN license; NURSYS verification with ACTIVE NY License and ALL RN licenses; RTO must be included at submission.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (AHA).
- 2+ years of IMCU/PCU experience, with exposure to neuro, cardiac, trauma, and post-operative patients.
- EPIC EMR experience required.
- Ability to work nights and float as needed; driver’s license with address matching demographics.
- Education: Registered Nurse degree from an approved program (RN).
