Cashier

You can be a cashier anywhere; here’s why you’ll love working at Mellow Mushroom. You’re a perfect blend of guest hospitality and transaction experience. You enjoy being the beginning, end, and best part of a patron’s dining experience. You know how to massage menu concerns, bang out small talk, and finish strong with processed payments. Last, you don’t like to stand in one place forever, so we encourage you to stretch your legs and help make things happen. Does all this add up to you?

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Handle and process all guest payments with a smile and a positive attitude
• Be organized and detail oriented; process credit cards accurately and maintain a balanced cash drawer
• Issue cash receipts and refunds when necessary; handle and resolve customer complaints
• Know the menu; promote products and new menu items; remind customers of how amazing our food and drinks are
• Be dependable and punctual; take pride in your role and be a good team member
• Maintain a clean and tidy workstation; the register area should reflect our high standards for cleanliness and safety

WHAT WE OFFER:

If you can do all that while maintaining a Mellow vibe, here’s what we can offer in return: competitive compensation, choice of benefit plans, training and development, employee discounts, and a positive environment that values diversity, inclusion, respect and freedom of self-expression in our team members.
