We are currently seeking a motivated, detail-oriented, and adaptable individual to join our team as a Shipping & Kitting Clerk. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in staying organized and productive.The Shipping & Kitting Clerk will primarily support shipping operations while also assisting with kitting and other production-related tasks as needed. Due to the dynamic nature of our business, team members in this role are expected to remain flexible and willing to assist in other departments when shipping or kitting demands are lighter. This includes learning entry-level Electrical Assembly processes and helping with smaller work orders assigned to the Electrical Shop. On-the-job training will be provided, and employees are expected to retain and apply what they learn as opportunities arise.Primary ResponsibilitiesShipping (Priority Focus)Wrap parts and connectorsBuild and prepare shipping boxesBag, tag, and label shipmentsCreate shrink tube tags, cable IDs, and labelsPackage finished products according to contract requirements and specificationsInspect packaged products to ensure compliance with contract requirementsSchedule freight and shipping pickups as neededKittingOrganize and distribute parts into individual kit bags according to work instructionsPrint labels and prepare kits for productionAdditional ResponsibilitiesOrganize and maintain the mezzanine areaManage shipping and kitting supplies inventoryPalletize boxes and shipmentsBasic equipment maintenanceRequirementsQualifications & Physical RequirementsSelf-motivated and deadline-drivenStrong attention to detailAbility to read and write English fluentlyAbility to sit or stand for extended periods of timeAbility to bend, reach, carry, and lift up to 40–50 lbs.Ability to occasionally use small hand tools requiring twisting, grasping, pulling, and pinching motions
