Job Description

As a Security Officer Routine Patrol in Odessa, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support daily operations through strong communication and customer service. In this role, you will work with a team that values agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity while putting people first in every interaction.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and sharing information with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the facility, operational areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity, potential hazards, and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and verify entry and/or exit activity in accordance with site protocols for a chemical and petrochemical location, helping to support authorized movement of people, vehicles, and materials.
• Observe conditions across the location and report maintenance concerns, spills, suspicious behavior, and/or other security-related issues that could impact daily operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
