Sr. Manager, Solutions Architects, CANPS NatSec/FedCiv

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for an experienced and motivated technical leader to grow and lead a team of Solutions Architects responsible for the Canadian Federal Government, National Security and Defense, and Financial Services customers. In this role you and your team will partner with sellers as part of an account team, to drive business outcomes for your customers. You will lead, motivate, and coach your team in developing relationships with technical executives, guide customers in using architecture best practices, partner with product teams to invent new solutions on behalf of your customers, and develop internal processes. You will also coach your team in scaling their learnings through internal and external publications and speaking engagements. You will need to be technically capable and credible in your own right as well as effective in shaping the customer and solutions-focused skills of your team. You must enjoy learning and introducing new technology in order to help colleagues and customers embrace and adopt new technology. You will also need to be adept at interacting, communicating and partnering with other teams within AWS such as services teams, marketing, and professional services, as well as representing your team to executive management. As a total compensation company, Amazon's package may include other elements such as sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
