Job Description

Medical Device Assembly Associate

Pay Rate: $19/hr
Shift: Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Work Type: Onsite

Job Overview

Seeking reliable and detail-oriented candidates for an entry-level medical device manufacturing and assembly role. This position supports the fabrication, assembly, testing, inspection, and packaging of medical devices in a fast-paced production environment. Candidates must be comfortable working with tools, following SOPs, and maintaining quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities

Assemble, fabricate, test, and package medical devices according to specifications
Operate, set up, troubleshoot, and perform basic maintenance on production equipment
Conduct quality inspections on production lines to ensure compliance with standards
Follow SOPs, quality guidelines, and safety procedures
Read and interpret written instructions and specifications
Rotate between production tasks and responsibilities as needed
Maintain clean and organized work areas
Report production or equipment issues to supervisors

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required
0–1 year of manufacturing, assembly, or production experience preferred
Mechanical aptitude required
Strong attention to detail and quality awareness
Ability to communicate effectively in English
Ability to perform basic math calculations
Comfortable working in a team-oriented environment
Reliable transportation required
Stable work history preferred (1–2 years with previous employers)
Must be open to overtime and flexible scheduling as needed

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods
Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs occasionally
Ability to perform repetitive tasks in a production environment

Preferred Skills

Medical device or manufacturing assembly experience
Experience using measuring tools or microscopes
Equipment troubleshooting experience
Quality inspection experience
Production line or packaging experience
