The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction. As a Dental Hygienist, you will be responsible for performing thorough dental cleanings, educating patients on oral health, and assisting the dental team in delivering exceptional care. Duties * Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history review and oral examinations. * Perform dental cleanings using appropriate techniques and tools to ensure optimal oral hygiene. * Assist in four-handed dentistry procedures, working closely with the dentist during treatments. * Utilize medical imaging systems for diagnostic purposes, ensuring accurate documentation of findings. * Maintain patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and perform documentation reviews as necessary. * Provide education to patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies. * Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a smooth workflow and positive patient experiences. * Support pediatric dentistry efforts by providing age-appropriate care and education to younger patients. Experience Candidates should possess: * Proven experience in general dentistry practices, including familiarity with Carestack, Open Dental or similar dental software systems. * Strong skills in patient assessment and documentation review processes. * Knowledge of pediatric dentistry principles is a plus but not mandatory. * A commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and patient care while adhering to all relevant regulations.
