divh2Bartender/h2pPosition Title: Bartender/ppReports To: Food and Beverage Supervisor/ppDepartment: Lounge/ppDate: May 2026/ph3Position Summary/h3pResponsible for providing beverage service to guests and maintains a high standard of cleanliness and service./ph3Supervision Received/h3pSupervision is received from the Food and Beverage Supervisor./ph3Primary Function/h3pCreate a memory/ph3Essential Functions/h3ulliTakes orders and rings them in correctly./liliMaintains proper control of liquor transactions and bar inventory./liliEnsures customer identification for legal drinking age./liliPrepares each drink using standard ingredient recipes and practicing prudent portion control./liliMaintains liquor, beer, and wine stock to appropriate levels./liliPerforms closing duties on a nightly basis, in a timely fashion./liliEnsures that each transaction is rung up immediately, payment is collected and a receipt is issued. Finalizes all outstanding charges./liliAdheres to company policies and liquor laws./liliComplete check out for all tickets and payment received at end of shift./liliEnsures that station is set up in an orderly and timely fashion./liliMaintains good service times./liliMake use of merchandizing techniques./liliKnow the preparation time of all food and beverage menu items./liliKnow all food and beverage sales prices./liliAnticipate the guests needs./liliAttend Banquet Bars as needed/liliComplies with all policies and procedures set forth by the Columbia Gorge Hotel Employee Handbook./li/ulh3Secondary Functions/h3ulliPerforms all other duties as assigned/li/ulh3Qualifications/h3ulliPossession of, or ability to obtain, a valid Food Handlers Card and OLCC Permit/liliMust be at least 21 years of age/liliAbility to work with a minimum of supervision/liliAbility to maintain a professional appearance at all times/liliAbility to stand and/or walk for entire shift/liliAbility to carry and balance trays/liliAbility to work as part of a team/liliAbility to communicate effectively/liliAbility to read and follow both verbal and written instructions/liliAbility to work well under pressure/liliKnowledge of mixology/li/ulh3Working Conditions/h3pThis position requires the ability to perform those activities necessary to complete the essential functions of the job, either with or without reasonable accommodation./ppWalking: 10%/ppStanding: 75%/ppSitting: 0%/ppBending: 10%/ppLifting: 5% / up to 50 lbs./pp100%/p/div
