Medical Technologist- Laboratory – Part Time Days at HHI ED Location: Hilton Head ED Employment Type: Part-Time Shift: Days Position Description: The Medical Technologist performs all laboratory procedures in a prompt, accurate, and reliable manner according to established hospital and departmental policies and procedures. The role is part of the Beaufort Memorial Emergency & Urgent Care facility located at 1016 William Hilton Pkwy, providing seamless, patient‑centered care. Education: Associate in Science or Bachelor of Science degree in medical technology, biology, chemistry, or related science. Experience: Over two years of experience preferred. Certifications/Licenses: Certification as Medical Technologist (MT), Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) required. Certification through ASCP preferred. MT (HEW) and MT(AMT) and MT(CLS) are also acceptable. If not certified on hire, must be certification eligible and obtain certification within 6 months of hire date.
