Class A Route Delivery Driver ($80,000 a year!)

Job Summary CrossCountry Freight Solutions (CCFS) is seeking Class A drivers who are passionate about customer service and have a safety‑first mindset. As a Route Delivery Driver you will operate a company motor vehicle to transfer freight safely and efficiently to and from specified locations by a specified time. Daily duties include unloading, sorting, palletizing, and reloading a wide variety of freight, either manually or with a mechanical device, and completing all required paperwork in accordance with government regulations and company policies. Essential Job Duties Conduct pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections. Deliver and/or pick up freight to/from customer locations and/or a terminal as instructed by dispatch or the immediate supervisor. Ensure all shipping documentation is available for DOT inspection and that appropriate paperwork accompanies each shipment to the delivery point. Load and/or unload a wide variety of freight onto and off a company motor vehicle, at customer locations and at the terminal, with or without mechanical assistance depending on the size of the freight. Minimum Requirements Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License. At least 21 years of age. Minimum one year of commercial driving experience. No DUI’s or DWI’s in the past three years. No more than three traffic violations in the past three years. Hazmat and Tanker endorsements, or willingness to obtain and renew them. Successful completion of a pre‑employment skills assessment. Physical Demands Frequent entry and exit of the cab of a commercial vehicle. Safe handling of freight and pallets weighing up to 2,500 pounds onto a dolly or cart (with a force of up to 130 pounds) using mechanical aid in various environments. Ability to carry freight weighing up to 40 pounds for a distance of up to 20 feet. Ability to hook and unhook various commercial combinations, lower and raise landing gear manually, operate fifth wheel release levers, lock and release pintle‑hooks, attach and release safety chains, open and close cargo doors, climb into and out of vehicles, and fuel and check oil/coolant levels of vehicles.
