Neuro Sonographer - Per Diem - San Diego

This is a casual (per diem) position with 10-hour varied shifts. Candidates must be flexible throughout the week, including weekends, evenings, holidays, and participate in the on-call rotation, and be willing to float between our San Diego and Chula Vista locations. This position is located at Scripps Mercy San Diego in the Hillcrest community. We are seeking experienced and certified Neuro Sonographer to join our specialized diagnostic imaging team. This position requires a professional with advanced training and certification in Neurosonography, particularly with expertise in cerebrovascular ultrasound, transcranial Doppler (TCD) and carotid duplex study.

Required Qualifications: One of the following: 1) Associate of Science Degree Certification in Ultrasound in a school that is accredited. 2) Successful completion of a formal educational program in an AMA approved school of ultrasound with a minimum of 500 hours of clinical in the specialty required. 3) Registered in the specialty that you are applied for by ARDMS or the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) with at least 1 year of full-time experience required ARDMS or CCI BLS from the American Heart Association Excellent interpersonal skills Preferred Qualifications: RVT or RVS RDCS or RCS Neurovascular Specialty Cerebrovascular ultrasound Transcranial Doppler (TCD) Carotid duplex study
