EDUCATION: High school diploma or G.E.D.

EXPERIENCE: Customer service experience preferred; cash handling experience required.

LICENSES OR CERTIFICATIONS: Required to obtain and maintain a Seneca Cayuga tribal gaming license; State issued ID

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to stand for extended periods of time; stoop, bend, twist and lift up to 35 pounds regularly; have good dexterity and grip.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: Grand Lake Casino is a drug and alcohol free workplace; Must be able to work in a casino environment which includes high levels of smoke, dust and noise.

JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for obtaining and maintaining all casino funds that are acquired and held on property.

SPECIAL WORKING CONDITIONS: This position requires the ability to w ork under pressure and meet tight deadlines; flexibility to work any shift including weekends and holidays; excellent math skills.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Responsible for all money & chips on hand in the vault issued to authorized staff
• Prepares & verifies banks issued to authorized staff.
• Issues chips to authorized staff when fills are requested for the table games
• Completes and transfers appropriate documentation to the Accounting Department
• Counts down & verifies banks at the close of shifts
• Responsible for verifying all money & chips at the beginning & end of the money room clerks shift
• Issues table game cards to authorized staff when retired cards are brought to the Vault
• Counts & verifies pull money from the floor machines & the table games
• Counts all bags from machines & boxes from table games
• Enters count for each bag or box using Microsoft Excel
• Verifies Total Pull Cash vs. Actual Cash on hand from drop
• Batch drops money
• Orders and verifies deposits and exchanges from Loomis
• Keeps work area clean and supplies stocked
• Responsible for following Title 31 reporting requirements
