Certified Ski or Snowboard Instructors will deliver quality instruction to groups and individuals, providing world‑class guest service in a safe and fun environment. Full‑time and part‑time positions available. Job Specifications Starting wage: $21.00/hr – $64.34/hr Pay range reflects minimum base wages; instructors may earn more with additional teaching incentives Employment type: Winter Seasonal 2026/2027 Shift type: Part‑time hours available (full‑time instructors not guaranteed a 40‑hour week; hours vary by business volume) Minimum age: 16 years Housing availability: Yes Job Responsibilities Teach group and private lessons Work with guests of all ages and abilities Deliver world‑class guest service Create a safe and fun learning environment Support all ski‑school needs, including scanning, running surface lifts, facilitating lunch, fitting equipment Provide feedback that inspires and creates lifelong skiers and riders Other duties as assigned Job Requirements Minimum PSIA/AASI instructor Level 1 certification or ISIA equivalent and above Fluent communication in English Willingness to work with guests of all ages and have comfort with children aged 3 and older Willingness to work weekends/holidays and meet minimum scheduling requirements Background check clearance by the State of Pennsylvania (to be completed prior to start) Placement contingent on successfully completing training and meeting minimum skill, guest service, and safety standards Vail Resorts is an equal opportunity employer.
