Step into a rewarding role supporting elementary students as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in a vibrant school setting near San Luis Obispo, CA. This contract position offers 37.5 hours per week and welcomes both experienced SLP-CCCs and SLP Clinical Fellows (CFYs), with strong supervision and mentorship provided for those new to the field.

You’ll collaborate closely with educators and families to develop and implement individualized speech and language interventions, helping young learners achieve meaningful communication goals and thrive in the classroom.

Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current California SLP licensure or eligibility; open to both CCC-SLP and SLP-CFY (new graduates encouraged to apply)
• Experience with pediatric and/or school-based caseloads is highly valued
• Knowledge of IEP processes and ability to deliver therapy services in accordance with individualized plans
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organization skills
• Commitment to evidence-based practice and continued professional growth

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for elementary students
• Develop and implement individual and group therapy sessions based on students’ needs
• Create and update IEP documentation, attend meetings, and actively participate in student support teams
• Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and parents to monitor progress and ensure comprehensive support
• Provide mentorship and supervision for CFY designees if applicable
