Human Resources Coordinator

Human Resource Coordinator – Denver, CO Position: Full‑Time/Part‑Time. Salary: $19.00 – $22.00 per hour. Travel: up to 25%. Job Description The Human Resource Coordinator will perform administrative tasks and services to support effective and efficient operations of the organization’s human resource department. This role provides administrative support, including record‑keeping, file maintenance, HRIS entry, and assisting the HR Manager with recruiting candidates. Responsibilities Assist in the full hiring process of employees, including recruitment, interviews, verifying work history and references, and tracking candidates in HRIS. Help with new‑hire procedures: organizing employee orientation, creating new employee files, administering employee handbooks, and ensuring completion of necessary paperwork. Perform orientations, onboarding, and update records with new hires. Organize, maintain, and update employee HRIS information as needed. Foster positive employee relations and address any employee issues that surface. Ensure all employee records are filed correctly and kept confidential. Complete E‑Verify and maintain existing I‑9 files. Coordinate training and Learning Management courses. Work with supervisors to ensure required training renewals are completed before expiration. Support special projects from the HR manager as needed. Assist with planning and execution of special events such as benefits enrollment, organization‑wide meetings, and employee recognition events. Perform other duties as required. Qualifications 2+ years of relevant experience in HR work. High school diploma or GED equivalent required; some college preferred. Background check required. Proven experience as an HR coordinator or relevant human resources recruiter position. Knowledge of human resources processes and best practices. Strong skills using Google Suite. Experience using HR software and HRIS databases. Ability to work with ATS software. Familiarity with social media recruiting and job fairs. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain a positive and professional attitude. Ability to handle data with confidentiality and discretion. Compensation $19.00 – $22.00 per hour.
