Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Employee Health Nurse , you will serve as a critical clinician, safeguarding the well-being of our dedicated staff and fostering a healthy, thriving workplace community through expert assessment and intervention.

Every day you will deliver comprehensive occupational health services, including complex pre-employment screenings, immunizations, acute injury assessment and management, case management, and proactive health education for our employees.

To be successful in this role you must combine advanced clinical expertise with exceptional organizational and critical thinking skills, a compassionate approach, and a proactive commitment to promoting the health and safety of our valued employees, ultimately contributing to a healthier and stronger organization.

• Pre-Employment Physical Examinations Performs pre-employment health assessments for all new hires.

• Orders TB testing on all employees, interprets results of tests and if necessary (positive), orders chest x-ray and coordinates testing program for organization.

• Administers Employee FIT Respirator Testing for all employees, per OSHA guidelines.

• Volunteer TB Screening Program for Volunteers

• Orders TB testing for all YRMC volunteers and does follow up chest x-rays as needed.

• Timely submission of completed test results to volunteer coordinator.

We are offering $10k relocation assistance to new hires who meet the eligibility requirements.

Job Requirements

Required

• Associates degree

• Two years of clinical nursing experience

• Registered Nurse: AZ

• AHA Basic Life Support - CPR

• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing, providing excellent customer service

• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities/tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment

• Basic computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Windows

Preferred

• Two years of Employee Wellness/HealthNurse experience and Electronic medical record experience

• Bachelors - BSN

$39.18 - $58.28 /hour
