Responsibilities and Qualifications We are seeking a professional, detail-oriented Phlebotomist who can provide excellent care to our community. The Phlebotomist will assist customers in a courteous and helpful manner, answer phones, take messages, give reports, provide general information, maintain confidentiality, promote a positive attitude, and assist anywhere in the laboratory as needed. Responsibilities include collecting and obtaining specimens, ensuring specimen integrity, preparing specimens for testing, referring specimens to reference laboratories, and assisting technologists with moderately complex testing. This position handles blood and blood products throughout the hospital. Previous blood draw experience is highly desired. A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
