Our client, healthcare and senior living services provider is seeking a Cook to join their team. As a Cook, you will be part of the kitchen support staff supporting senior residents' nutritional needs. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, a passion for culinary excellence, and strong communication skills which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Cook

Location: Gadsden, AL

Pay Range: $18.25

Shift: 7:00 am start, 8 hours per shift

What's the Job?

• Prepare nutritious, flavorful, and well-balanced meals following established menus
• Ensure food safety regulations and client standards are met in every dish
• Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and storage procedures
• Assist in preparing therapeutic diets tailored to residents' dietary needs
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area

What's Needed?

• Experience as a cook or in a related culinary role
• Knowledge of food preparation, cooking methods, and food safety regulations
• Ability to acquire food safety certification
• Basic math and counting skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
