Responsibilities Schedule patient appointments efficiently while managing provider availability. Maintain accurate patient records within EMR systems. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations during patient interactions. Communicate effectively with patients regarding their appointments and medical needs. Verify insurance information and assist with billing inquiries. Collaborate with medical staff to optimize scheduling processes. Handle incoming calls professionally and address patient inquiries promptly. Assist in administrative tasks as needed to support clinic operations. Qualifications Proven experience in medical scheduling or a similar role. Strong knowledge of medical terminology and EMR systems. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality practices. Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation. Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications. Experience with insurance verification processes is preferred.
