Join our team as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department, providing critical patient care in a fast-paced environment. This contract position in New York, NY, requires night shifts and focuses on patient assessment, interdisciplinary collaboration, and patient education. Minimum 2 years of RN experience Experience in emergency department or similar acute care setting Ability to work night shifts and weekends as required Strong critical thinking and patient care management skills Effective professional communication and collaboration skills Experience in patient education and assessment Familiarity with clinical documentation processes
Valid NYS RN License BLS, PALS, ACLS certifications NIH Stroke certification preferred Experience with electronic health record systems preferred Experience in process and quality improvement initiatives Demonstrated ability in ethical decision making Commitment to professional development and lifelong learning
