Back Office Medical AssistantInsight Global is seeking a Back Office Medical Assistant to support a busy colorectal surgery practice in Roseville, CA. This individual will work closely with providers to deliver high-quality patient care, assist with examinations and minor procedures, obtain patient vitals, maintain clinical areas, and ensure exam rooms are appropriately stocked and prepared for patient visits. This is a hands-on clinical role within a colon and rectal surgery practice and requires comfort working in a surgical specialty environment.Responsibilities:Assist physicians with patient care, examinations, and minor procedures.Obtain and document patient vital signs.Prepare and maintain exam rooms for patient visits.Keep clinical areas, exam rooms, and common patient areas clean and organized.Stock medical supplies and notify leadership when inventory is low.Properly prepare biopsy specimens for laboratory pickup.Complete daily, weekly, and monthly clinical logs and documentation.Assist with phones and front office duties as needed.Support patients in a colorectal surgery setting, including exposure to bodily fluids and other aspects of direct patient care.
