As a Security Officer Patrol Response in Vacaville, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic tech and communications location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support access activity with professionalism. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, offices, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and/or visitor requirements, and report maintenance, access control, or other security-related concerns according to site procedures.
• Support day-to-day operations at the location by observing activity, assisting with directions and/or information, and reporting incidents, hazards, or policy violations to the appropriate contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
