Clinical Wellness Nurse - GAThe primary focus of the Clinical Wellness Nurse focuses on individual coaching, site health promotion, and clinic functions. In collaboration, with the client benefits and account teams, this nurse balances individual coaching sessions with appropriate delivery and coordination of wellness programs including event scheduling and appointment coordination and monitors effectiveness of the programs. A core objective of this position is to facilitate wellness programs that educate and influence employees at the worksite to lead healthy lifestyles.Coach responsibilities include:Individual coaching sessionsAssist in the identification of members' health advocacy needsUtilize motivational interviewing and engagement strategies to support overall health and wellness of employeesProvide onsite support to members in order to help them identify a need for behavior change to improve health status, reduce health risks and improve quality of lifeProvide health and wellness education utilizing a multitude of media including group presentations, support group facilitation, creative use of modalities (i.e. games, quizzes, etc.), newsletter contributions, etc.Follow up with employees to ensure that wellness program engagement has been achieved and assess future educational and/or program referral needsHealth promotion includes:Educating about wellness programs, tools and servicesRaising awareness and creating visibility for wellnessWellness events and campaignsClinical functions/telemedicinePrepping patient for virtual providerCLIA waived testingLabsInput HPI info into the systemOverall management and day to day operations of the health centerBiometric testingVaccine administrationSkills: What we expect from you:Active and unrestricted RN in GAMinimum of 3 or more years clinical experience as an RN a physician's office or hospital settingExperience in health education and wellness coaching preferredDemonstrated experience and ability in providing superior client service to organizations and individualsPositive role model in demonstrating healthy behaviorsProven administrative abilities with strong computer and software application skillsExcellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environmentA high energy level and excellent written and oral communication skills are essentialSelf-directness and the ability succeed in an independent roleBonus points for: Virtual/telemedicine experiencePassion for health improvement and patient educationStrong computer/technical skillsEducation: Requires unrestricted GA RN license. Experience in a family medicine office would be great.
