Key Responsibilities

• Perform CT scan procedures under the direction of the Medical Director, Section Head, Manager, and Radiologist in a Level I Trauma and Academic Medical Center setting
• Utilize CT modality to produce high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring patient safety and a positive patient experience
• Conduct CT exams on outpatients, inpatients (stable and intensive care), research patients, and patients requiring specialized CT scan-guided procedures
• Support trauma and emergency room scanning in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Practice and enforce radiation safety measures in accordance with New York State Department of Health code part 16
• Support teaching initiatives and engage in continued learning as imaging technology evolves

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved two-year AMA Radiologic Technology program
• New York State Registration in Diagnostic Radiography or a valid limited permit to practice in New York State
• Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Current BLS for Healthcare Provider, CPR, or CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer certification
• Minimum of 2 years of CT Technologist experience

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a Level I Trauma or academic medical center environment
• Familiarity with CT scan-guided procedures and research patient protocols
• Experience scanning intensive care or complex inpatient populations
