Sewing TechnicianBlue Core is a growing manufacturer of high-quality marine upholstery and seating for leading boat builders. We are looking for team members who value quality, productivity, accountability, and teamwork and want to grow with us.We are seeking a skilled Sewing Technician to sew and finish high-quality marine textile components, including boat upholstery, covers, and enclosures. This role focuses on industrial sewing using heavy-duty marine materials and requires strong attention to detail, accuracy, and craftsmanship.What You'll DoOperate industrial sewing machines, including Juki Single Needle and ABM Quilter 5432, to stitch materials used in marine applicationsFollow patterns, blueprints, and specifications to ensure precise sewing and constructionConduct quality checks to ensure finished products meet durability and craftsmanship standardsAdjust machine settings as needed to accommodate different materials and designsPerform basic machine upkeep, including threading and replacing needlesWork closely with team members and the Sewing Manager to meet daily production goalsMaintain a clean, safe, and organized work areaWhat We're Looking ForPrevious experience as a sewing machine operator, seamstress, upholstery sewer, or textile worker preferredExperience operating industrial sewing machines, including Juki, walking foot, quilting machines, or similar equipment preferredFamiliarity with upholstery materials such as vinyl, marine fabrics, or other heavy-duty textiles is a plusStrong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accuratelyGood hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for precise stitchingReliable, positive, and able to work efficiently as part of a team in a fast-paced production environmentPhysical RequirementsAbility to sit and operate a sewing machine for extended periodsAbility to lift and move materials as needed, up to 25 poundsGood vision and attention to fine detailsWhat We OfferWeekly payPaid time off and paid holidaysMedical, dental, and vision insuranceCompany-paid life and long-term disability insurance401(k) with company matchAdditional voluntary benefit optionsA collaborative, team-focused work environmentBenefits, paid time off, and other offerings are subject to applicable eligibility requirements.Please note: Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background check and drug screening
