- Salary range: $90,000 - $94,000/year
- Bonus opportunity (10%)
- Relocation assistance (10%) if needed
Here's How You'll Make an Impact on the Team
- Assess quality performance using statistical and analytical methods and report trends and root causes
- Develop and implement inspection plans, control plans, PFMEAs, and quality systems/procedures
- Perform in-house and supplier audits; develop and initiate supplier performance improvement programs
- Lead failure analysis and corrective action investigations
- Prepare technical reports, training materials, and conduct quality control training
- Apply continuous improvement and lean manufacturing techniques to refine products and processes
- Represent the organization during internal and external audits and ensure compliance with contract/quality requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2+ years of related quality engineering experience
- Experience with statistical analysis and quality/tools (PFMEA, control plans, inspection methods)
- Ability to communicate effectively with production teams, leadership, customers, and suppliers
- Experience with corrective actions, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement
- Ability to create and maintain technical documentation and training materials
- Experience in aerospace or automotive industries (preferred)
- Familiarity with Six Sigma and Lean tools
- American Society for Quality (ASQ) certification desired
- Experience maintaining or improving QS9000/ISO9000 and related systems
